SPAM Blacklists are intended to identify IP addresses that have carried out spam practices via email. When a domain or IP address is added to a blacklist, it is possible that the emails you send from the domain associated with that IP will not reach your users. Although this largely depends on the filters set by the recipient’s provider. If your provider filters through those blacklists in which you have been included, the recipient will not receive your emails since the antispam filters have prevented the passage to their inbox. On the other hand, if you filter by other different blacklists, the emails you send will arrive normally.

Spam blacklisting companies rarely enter email servers or email addresses by mistake. If your mail is in the lists, it means that they have detected that your mail has taken actions to send mass mail, voluntarily or involuntarily, or some mail account that sends from the same server where yours is hosted.

On the Internet there are a wide variety of sites where we can verify if our IP is on some of these blacklists.

To avoid ending up in a blacklist, simply follow good practices in relation to sending emails. On the one hand, you should avoid using your mail server for these bulk mailings. There are tools such as Mailchimp or Mailrelay to carry out this type of sending and prevent the IP or domain from which they are sent from being added to a blacklist.

On the other hand, it is advisable to use a verified email list (service we offer) that will allow you to ensure that your email is arriving at an address that does exist and that it will be seen in the main tray, as long as you make good use of your email as we discussed in this article.
